Language Exchange Event Marbella!!

We are very excited to say we have the first language exchange event of 2015 now organised! Come along to meet new people, have fun and practice a new language!

The event will be taking place on Saturday 7th February at 3.30pm for 2 hours, in Marbella centre at one of LanguageLinker's favourite restaurants, Yamas! 

Entrance is just 5€ per person which includes a drink (red/white wine, beer or orange juice) plus one of Yamas' delicious tapas!

All ages and levels welcome! The language exchange will be mainly English/Spanish but everyone is welcome! 

Yamas is a Greek fusion restaurant and bar, serving a superb and delicious variety of tapas, mezzes and main meals from their exciting menu. All this is offered in a friendly environment and beautiful surroundings in their hidden private courtyard.

“Yamas” is a word of Greek origin (Γεια μας) meaning “to your Health” and is often said like “Cheers” around dining tables and bars in Greece.

New Year's resolution

2014 was an amazing year for us and we want to continue this, so our New Year's resolution is to keep moving forward and make 2015 even better than 2014!

It's the new year and lots of exciting things are happening! We are continuing to develop our website and we hope to be launching the new...and improved version of our website very soon. This is very exciting for us as it'll be even more user friendly for our members. The improvements will include an overhaul of the profile area and also a user friendly mobile/tablet version of the website.

We are delighted with the response at the language exchange groups we have been running along the Costa del Sol/Marbella area and with this we will be starting up these groups again at the end of January. We look forward to meeting the new members! Watch our news board and Facebook page for latest event details!

Christmas Market Language Exchange!

The last language exchange group (for 2014 anyway!) is arranged for the Saturday 29th November and we're very excited as this time we are off to a traditional Christmas market!!

Continuing our informal approach to language exchanges (which we believe is the most fun!) our group members not only get to practice languages in a relaxed environment but it also helps those that have just moved abroad to make new friends and get integrated in their new community!

The group we have running here on the Costa del Sol in Spain is made up of English, Spanish and Dutch members and for 2015 we have new people joining us from Germany and Russia! We couldn't be more delighted with the success of the groups.
